If you want to fix error 0xc0000005 by running CHKDSK Scan then follow these simple steps:

1. Go to search, and run Command Prompt as an administrator
2. Type chkdsk /f /r C: and hit Enter. (instead of C: type the letter of your hard disk)
3. Upon pressing Enter, the scan will begin. Once it’s done, restart your system
